Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is located in Angel Canyon, in the very heart of the Golden Circle formed by a ring of majestic parks including Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and Lake Powell.
Flowing through Angel Canyon is Kanab Creek, which meanders through the little neighboring town of Kanab and wends its way some 30 miles south, where the craggy red, purple, green and golden cliff walls become monumental as they merge into the Grand Canyon.
If you follow Kanab Creek north towards the White Cliffs, it will lead you all the way to Zion National Park. |
